Lets see, what's happened since Alexis started kindergarten? Well, we celebrated Halloween (Alexis was Batgirl and Luke was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle), Thanksgiving, Christmas, Luke started preschool and gave up his binky on the same day, then we celebrated Alexis' 6th birthday. Chris did a lot more work on our house (it looks like a real house again and I love it!) This was possible because in October the company that Chris worked for ran out of work. He's been collecting unemployment since then. It's been a bit of a blessing really, because I know the house wouldn't be even close to as finished as it is if he was still working. On January 8th Horizon Bank (where I've worked the last 12.5 years) was closed by the FDIC and taken over by Washington Federal. On February 10th they "eliminated my position". So, now I'm collecting unemployment too. We are most likely moving back to Snohomish county once Alexis finishes Kindergarten. Chris is going to work for his cousin and uncle at their construction company. I will hopefully find another part time job. The kids will both start school some place new in September, we're just not sure where yet.<br />Ok, here's some pictures from the last 6 months. They are out of order. I hate uploading pictures to blogger:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/S5CKrd3kSQI/AAAAAAAAAmk/rb0yfpdSJz0/s1600-h/DSCF0353.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/S5CKrd3kSQI/AAAAAAAAAmk/rb0yfpdSJz0/s320/DSCF0353.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445004428847630594" border="0" /></a>Ferry ride to Kingston in February 2010. It's so much easier for me to just log onto Facebook and see what's going on! But, I had to post about Alexis' first day of Kindergarten! She's been so excited about it all summer and finally the day came. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Graham and she goes Tues and Fri from 9-3:30 and Wednesdays from 12:45-3:30. I will drive her today and tomorrow then she'll start the bus. Luke was so sad that he didn't get to go to school too. I'm going to try and get him enrolled in preschool but first I have to figure out how to fit it all in - work, school, preschool - yikes! Here's a few pictures from this morning.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381745619061983122" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sq_NIHe0R5I/AAAAAAAAAlU/WvzHmQvDnVM/s320/IMG_5674.JPG" /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381743797584543106" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sq_LeF8wPYI/AAAAAAAAAlE/hFeDQzJYyNU/s320/IMG_5681.JPG" /><br /><p align="center">All ready to go!<br /><br /></p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381743525983453010" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sq_LOSKAf1I/AAAAAAAAAk8/oMqY5pMb_fw/s320/IMG_5686.JPG" /><br /><p align="center">Waving goodbye.</p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381743299834822930" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sq_LBHr-QRI/AAAAAAAAAk0/il8VFAplBXQ/s320/IMG_5687.JPG" /><br /><p align="center">I got Luke a few preschool workbooks for him to work on while Alexis is at school. It's a big indoor water park just south of Olympia and I've been wanting to go ever since I heard about it. We were lucky enough to get a gift card from Janet and Bill for Christmas and finally were able to find a weekend to get away. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the pool, but they were pretty scared of any of the waterslides and the wave pool. I really wanted them to go down at least one waterslide, but it just didn't happen. They also have this game there called Magi Quest. I don't know how to describe it, but you go all over the hotel and find different things and complete these "quests". Alexis and Chris spend quite awhile our second day there working on this. Here's some pictures from our weekend!<br /><br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5350781043836862594" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SkHLAnzKQII/AAAAAAAAAbg/keFU6cjpil0/s320/IMG_5133.JPG" />Looking down at the wave pool.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5350781047023194482" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SkHLAzq10XI/AAAAAAAAAbo/YEgrxt87CjQ/s320/IMG_5151.JPG" /><br />This 1000 gallon bucket dumped water about every 5 minutes on the water fort area.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5350777227300571314" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SkHHieGACLI/AAAAAAAAAag/2u6EAhono7Y/s320/IMG_5150.JPG" />On a quest. Where has the time gone? He is such a smart, funny little boy and makes us laugh all the time. He can be very gruff and when I ask him why he's yelling at me he says "I'm not!" I think it's just the way he talks - a little like his daddy?! He really is a sweet little boy and loves his Sissy so much! We're working on potty training and he's doing quite well. He never wants any help and needs his privacy, so that makes it a little tricky sometimes. He still loves his binky way too much. When I tell him he needs to give it to me because he's a big boy now he insists he's not a big boy, he's still a baby. Any other time we ask if he's a baby the answer is NO! On his birthday we went to Billy McHale's for dinner then to Build a Bear. He built a monkey with a Sonic's uniform on. Very cute, but I forgot the camera so haven't taken a picture of it yet.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336528235789878658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sg8oKAQZBYI/AAAAAAAAAZw/FiBx0f1-II4/s320/IMG_0050.JPG" border="0" /> May 13, 2006 - 1 day old</div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336528233698764338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sg8oJ4d1JjI/AAAAAAAAAZo/iC_EbZRmg90/s320/IMG_5027.JPG" border="0" /></div><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336528232307607298" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sg8oJzSJxwI/AAAAAAAAAZg/rpTnu0w-YfA/s320/IMG_5026.JPG" border="0" /></p><p align="center">May 12, 2009 - Gotta love the fake smile!</p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5336528227390502082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/Sg8oJg90tMI/AAAAAAAAAZY/hEeyRyS0Urs/s320/IMG_5021.JPG" border="0" /> <p align="center">Wearing his favorite new Spiderman PJ's! I wasn't in the mood, so said not right now. Alexis offered to play with him, so I said sure. I have been so tired lately and all I wanted to do was lay down, so I went into Alexis' room (nicest room in the house by far right now!) and layed down on her bed. I was just listening to them play and dozing a little. After 30 minutes I got up and did some laundry. After an hour they decided they were done. Not once during this hour did they argue or even say my name. It was so nice! I even heard them tell each other "I love you" once. They are getting so grown up and play together so well (most of the time anyway!) <br />I think I spoke too soon. I hear screaming now...The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-37168715901876349522009-03-10T22:02:00.000-07:002009-03-10T22:36:21.137-07:00February Fun<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Here's a quick recap of our February. </div><div> </div><div>We started off the month celebrating Alexis' birthday. </div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5311796164747861154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SbdKd_8UHKI/AAAAAAAAAVU/XQT4Qbmmtmk/s320/IMG_4750.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div>Next came Valentine's day, complete with heart shaped pancakes! </div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5311796178957703954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SbdKe04NGxI/AAAAAAAAAVk/6KdKigqC9hA/s320/IMG_4804.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5311796185299494050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SbdKfMgNJKI/AAAAAAAAAVs/8HO0D2w_GNA/s320/IMG_4805.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div>Chris installed the skylight in our "soon to be" bathroom and also got all the sheetrock up and plumbing done! I can't believe you're 5 years old today. It has been such a joy to watch you grow into such a sweet, smart, funny little girl. Sometimes it's hard to believe you're only 5, as you can have an attitude like a teenager, but when I see you snuggled up to me in your bed I know you're definitely my little girl still. We love you!<br />February 14, 2004<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299569029457329154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvZ9Dd3PAI/AAAAAAAAAU8/8O4t_Pzk6aY/s320/Alexis+002.jpg" border="0" />Febraury 5, 2009<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299567787622266322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvY0xRT9dI/AAAAAAAAAT8/hIuuV1OyORs/s320/IMG_4704.JPG" border="0" /><br />Alexis had a good birthday today. Sherri made her a cozy blanket and cupcakes while they were at her house. After work she opened her presents from us (a Barbie scooter and Barbie fishing pole), then we all went to Build a Bear and to Billy McHale's for dinner. The only downfall of the day was the fall she took on the sidewalk, scraping up her leg big time and the hives that keep appearing on her body! You should have seen her lip at Build a Bear. She looked like Angelina Jolie. Luckily some Benadryl took care of it and we're seeing the dr on Monday to see if we can figure out what keeps causing this. Here's some pictures of our evening.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299567795251093874" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvY1NsKoXI/AAAAAAAAAUE/GIAVYnTBRUI/s320/IMG_4705.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299567792807115858" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvY1ElefFI/AAAAAAAAAUM/5rLdLvJgQho/s320/IMG_4711.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299567796589752866" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvY1SrU8iI/AAAAAAAAAUU/XItg7WKhpA0/s320/IMG_4717.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299569022470101618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvZ8pb-mnI/AAAAAAAAAUk/UnvW2eNW3og/s320/IMG_4723.JPG" border="0" /></p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299567801014480210" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvY1jKQ7VI/AAAAAAAAAUc/NNIlRBsAzZY/s320/IMG_4720.JPG" border="0" /></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299569027623307154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvZ88omR5I/AAAAAAAAAUs/_tukED6vNFQ/s320/IMG_4725.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299569028017080978" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SYvZ8-GeypI/AAAAAAAAAU0/H9RldOTLdwA/s320/IMG_4726.JPG" border="0" />The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-32202535749602909232009-01-26T13:05:00.001-08:002009-01-26T13:07:02.162-08:00Silly kids!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SX4l3Q17wZI/AAAAAAAAAT0/0-DPUabQo2s/s1600-h/IMG_4669.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295711843178496402" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SX4l3Q17wZI/AAAAAAAAAT0/0-DPUabQo2s/s320/IMG_4669.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SX4l3Plj-0I/AAAAAAAAATs/s9mLW3HFlqw/s1600-h/IMG_4668.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5295711842841393986" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SX4l3Plj-0I/AAAAAAAAATs/s9mLW3HFlqw/s320/IMG_4668.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div></div></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-42342294549585779992008-12-30T22:42:00.001-08:002009-01-06T14:31:59.319-08:00A very white Christmas!Christmas has come and gone again. And, I know it will be here again before I know it. Every year Christmas with the kids gets more fun. This year was no exception. Alexis couldn't wait for Santa to visit and Luke, being the copy cat that he is, couldn't either! Christmas Eve this year was definitely different than every other Christmas Eve I've been alive for, I think. It was the first year we didn't get to see Grandma and Grandpa Coon or Aunt Janet and Uncle Bill. There was just too much snow. It started really snowing at our house on the 17th of December and didn't really stop until the 26th or 27th. It was crazy the amount of snow we had (and still have). I didn't drive myself anywhere for 11 days. I think that's a record. As much as I complain about Chris' big truck I sure was glad to have it during the snow. There is no way we could have made it to Lynnwood without it!<br /><br />Anyway, we spent Christmas Eve at mom and dad's with Karen and her family, Eric and Gramma S. It was a really nice, relaxing night. So nice to not have to go anywhere else and just be able to put the kids to bed when they were tired. We got up Christmas morning and opened more presents, had breakfast and were just lazy for a bit. Again, so nice to just relax! Around 1:00 we headed over to the Francois' for more presents and the big family dinner. Jen, Chad, Alice, Dre and Ed all made it to town for Christmas, and it was really fun to get to spend some time with all of them. We didn't leave their house until about 11:30 pm, so it was definitely a late night.<br />The snow at our house before we left!<br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285845876156267010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsY0ZnB-gI/AAAAAAAAARI/TJvvaFqev5E/s320/IMG_4389.JPG" border="0" />Checking out the loot<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285845876823273698" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsY0cGDsOI/AAAAAAAAARQ/W_bCZ4pz1DU/s320/IMG_4395.JPG" border="0" />She's a little excited<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285845885638002658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsY087px-I/AAAAAAAAARY/S_Q2f6zkDCQ/s320/IMG_4399.JPG" border="0" /><br />Playing with G.G.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285845890317555202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsY1OXWFgI/AAAAAAAAARg/L4Mdu8NpiLE/s320/IMG_4402.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285845897188166658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsY1n9bTAI/AAAAAAAAARo/c5JTZG98owg/s320/IMG_4428.JPG" border="0" />Sawing off Eliot's arm<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285846401537366162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsZS-zpWJI/AAAAAAAAARw/cyCIFbdjr7g/s320/IMG_4436.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285846403706793122" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsZTG44LKI/AAAAAAAAAR4/YlIsgauTZ9s/s320/IMG_4432.JPG" border="0" />Christmas morning!<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285846408550732754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SVsZTY7w09I/AAAAAAAAASA/yW-pfFXUfUE/s320/IMG_4453.JPG" border="0" /><br />Biscuit. Alexis had fun decorating it with me. Luke slept on the couch like a typical guy :) I've been trying to Christmas shop, but am having a hard time. Everytime I go out I find more stuff I want to get for the kids, but not much for other people. I'm refraining from buying it all. I think Visa gift cards may be the way I go this year. I'd be perfetly happy to get that as a gift, so hopefully others will too. </div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280974932363205186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnKuJ9AWkI/AAAAAAAAAPk/2_L8BTI_g04/s320/IMG_4177.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280974937956203250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnKueyeuvI/AAAAAAAAAPs/FunYF_Fj2Mw/s320/IMG_4179.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280974940626887506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnKuovOI1I/AAAAAAAAAP0/ab9JXYoV8vk/s320/IMG_4197.JPG" border="0" />On December 12 Alexis had her preschool Christmas program. It was so cute! They sang some songs like "This Little Light of Mine" and "Away in a Manger" and a few others and their teacher told the short version of the Christmas story. Alexis was the Angel of the Lord, the only person with a speaking part. She memorized her lines and said them like a pro. She looked right at the shepherds and said "Don't be afraid. I have good news. A special baby is born! Go see the baby laying in the manger." We were so proud of her! Now she's on Christmas break til January 5. She is already asking when she gets to go back to school.<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280978961503197826" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnOYrq1moI/AAAAAAAAARA/u1Yv0RskyGU/s320/IMG_1029.JPG" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280974946409563906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnKu-R6xwI/AAAAAAAAAP8/9hqu_pkfNgQ/s320/IMG_4242.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280975677306022034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnLZhFNqJI/AAAAAAAAAQE/iKnJXup3qC4/s320/IMG_4265.JPG" border="0" />We got our first snow of the season last weekend. We were at mom and dad's for the weekend so Chris could work on the house and it snowed there. The kids played in it for a bit, but it was really cold. I was glad we weren't at home because out here in the county it was -5 with the wind chill! On Sunday we went to the Children's Museum in Everett to celebrate Eliot's 3d birthday. It was super fun!<br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280975701183921186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnLa6CJfCI/AAAAAAAAAQk/b8LiFrUS7iE/s320/IMG_4307.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280975689922827906" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnLaQFS1oI/AAAAAAAAAQU/kwmyK-K6c2A/s320/IMG_4296.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280975694930351586" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnLaivLleI/AAAAAAAAAQc/zxhGf-2ZFaQ/s320/IMG_4301.JPG" border="0" /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280978710698426882" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnOKFWUggI/AAAAAAAAAQ4/yxCT3pyUVNY/s320/IMG_4328.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280975689336739938" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SUnLaN5j2GI/AAAAAAAAAQM/m733qRqtTQ8/s320/IMG_4291.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><div>Today it started snowing here and we've got a good 6 inches. We went to the mall tonight because I needed snow boots desperately and figured we'd do a little Christmas shopping while we were there. Didn't happen since the whole mall (besides Target) was closed! At least I got my boots :) </div><div>I can't believe next week is Christmas! Well, this weekend we finally managed. On Sunday we took the kids to see Madagascar 2 in the theater. I really wasn't worried about it since both my kids (especially Luke) really like watching tv. We got popcorn, root beer and sour patch kids for a snack and got settled. They watched the whole movie and were both so good! Luke got pretty excited when he saw Alex the lion and couldn't help but yell his name a few times, but other than that they were very quiet. Chris and I really enjoyed the movie, too, and it was fun to go do something as a family. I mean, I've spent plenty of quality time with the kids over the last few months while Chris has been stuck spending a lot of quality time with our house. And since I never got around to a Halloween post, here's a couple pictures of the kids in their costumes. Luke's a monkey and Alexis is Violet, from the Incredibles.<br /><div></div><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270043765994903026" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SSL04h7jVfI/AAAAAAAAAPM/PVl9pVMZEos/s320/IMG_4057.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270043756487331394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SSL03-gxTkI/AAAAAAAAAO8/_VqBdqu8PIU/s320/IMG_4051.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270043753914636386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SSL0307ZGGI/AAAAAAAAAO0/NK7546GuH6U/s320/IMG_4039.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5270043761855328178" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SSL04Sgmb7I/AAAAAAAAAPE/5Is1MT5Ui1c/s320/IMG_4047.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-34678172311638302192008-10-29T20:34:00.001-07:002008-10-29T20:43:23.375-07:00Would you like some cookie with your sprinkles?<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262786183546909746" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQksJocltDI/AAAAAAAAAOE/lDs710jjqME/s320/IMG_4034.JPG" border="0" /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQksmZk466I/AAAAAAAAAOs/tgI-EUv-ORg/s1600-h/IMG_4033.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262786677771398050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQksmZk466I/AAAAAAAAAOs/tgI-EUv-ORg/s320/IMG_4033.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQksl8-c30I/AAAAAAAAAOk/98wup7eWBuw/s1600-h/IMG_4032.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262786670093983554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQksl8-c30I/AAAAAAAAAOk/98wup7eWBuw/s320/IMG_4032.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQkslYQe_aI/AAAAAAAAAOc/8euM5RbbVzU/s1600-h/IMG_4035.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262786660237508002" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQkslYQe_aI/AAAAAAAAAOc/8euM5RbbVzU/s320/IMG_4035.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQkskkgQhDI/AAAAAAAAAOU/nIaaK-Glb3A/s1600-h/IMG_4028.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262786646345024562" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQkskkgQhDI/AAAAAAAAAOU/nIaaK-Glb3A/s320/IMG_4028.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQkskQT-iPI/AAAAAAAAAOM/hU70nL0MuRg/s1600-h/IMG_4029.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262786640924805362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQkskQT-iPI/AAAAAAAAAOM/hU70nL0MuRg/s320/IMG_4029.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-22990491254440887682008-10-24T10:41:00.000-07:002008-10-24T10:59:25.093-07:00Just some picturesWe really haven't done anything fun or exciting lately, so I thought I'd just share a few pictures I've taken in the last f<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQIJ7sNYrrI/AAAAAAAAANc/ecUljso5G9g/s1600-h/IMG_3955.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260778235806396082" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SQIJ7sNYrrI/AAAAAAAAANc/ecUljso5G9g/s320/IMG_3955.JPG" border="0" /></a>ew weeks. I thought it would be hard for her to decide what to bring, but she knew what she wanted to bring. Let me just start by saying that Alexis has at least 50 (maybe closer to 100) stuffed animals and would happily take 50 more. She's always ooohing and ahhing over them at any store and begging to buy them all. So, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that that is what she chose for show and tell. She brought her Rudolph that she got last Christmas and a stuffed elephant. These 2 have always been at the top of her list of favorites. I wish I could have heard what she told the class about them. <a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOvQVpRb4-I/AAAAAAAAAMs/U1AvwZf8oWs/s1600-h/IMG_3823.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254522460532630498" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOvQVpRb4-I/AAAAAAAAAMs/U1AvwZf8oWs/s320/IMG_3823.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOvQWMS7f4I/AAAAAAAAAM0/atg7L0CTsEg/s1600-h/IMG_3822.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254522469934137218" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOvQWMS7f4I/AAAAAAAAAM0/atg7L0CTsEg/s320/IMG_3822.JPG" border="0" /></a></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-47547354790835887382008-10-07T09:35:00.000-07:002008-10-24T11:05:10.006-07:00My new nephewThere is a new addition in Karen, Dennis and Eliot's family! Baxter was born on 9/28 (his due date) and is doing great. We went to visit them on the 29th when they came home from the hospital. He was only 7 lbs at birth and seems so tiny! Eliot is doing great with his little brother. Alexis was so cute with him. She loved holding him and was so sweet. Luke didn't really care much about him. Apparently babies aren't his thing :)<br /><div><div><div><div><div>I loved holding such a little baby, b<span style="font-size:0;"></span><span style="font-size:0;"></span><span style="font-size:0;"></span>ut was happy to give him back to Karen. I guess my baby days are behind me. I couldn't get both Luke and Alexis to sit with me while I held Baxter, so there is a picture of me with them separately. Oh well, someday they will cooperate, right?? </div><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuU-KAwT5I/AAAAAAAAAMA/QXVuzD_aGzE/s1600-h/IMG_3812.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254457185818136466" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuU-KAwT5I/AAAAAAAAAMA/QXVuzD_aGzE/s320/IMG_3812.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuT5C5-JBI/AAAAAAAAALo/qUpD1vAMREA/s1600-h/IMG_3802.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254455998499660818" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuT5C5-JBI/AAAAAAAAALo/qUpD1vAMREA/s320/IMG_3802.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuShTS4i7I/AAAAAAAAALg/kPsw9X3Fjhw/s1600-h/IMG_3816.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254454491070630834" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuShTS4i7I/AAAAAAAAALg/kPsw9X3Fjhw/s320/IMG_3816.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuUGGgOOOI/AAAAAAAAALw/vn5kkocvb5I/s1600-h/IMG_3783.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254456222803704034" style="CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuUGGgOOOI/AAAAAAAAALw/vn5kkocvb5I/s320/IMG_3783.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuVwMkSiMI/AAAAAAAAAMI/8bUUn4HuxLs/s1600-h/IMG_3781.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254458045497510082" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuVwMkSiMI/AAAAAAAAAMI/8bUUn4HuxLs/s320/IMG_3781.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SOuSg0u_sEI/AAAAAAAAALY/2E7OhjpzW9U/s1600-h/IMG_3781.JPG"></a></div></div></div></div></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-8041101699828646682008-09-16T10:53:00.000-07:002008-09-16T11:07:59.138-07:00First Day of Preschool!Alexis had her very first day of preschool yesterday! I was a little worried about it just because she's been a little clingy lately but she did just fine. She goes again tomorrow and is excited about it. Today she is going over to her friend Simone's house to play and I'm actually just going to drop her off and her mom will bring her home later. This will be the first time I've just left her at a friend's house without staying myself. I'm sure she will be on her best behavior. She's always much better behaved for other people! <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iOY4kII/AAAAAAAAAI4/nClqsWMJuF0/s1600-h/IMG_3744.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246680959725113474" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iOY4kII/AAAAAAAAAI4/nClqsWMJuF0/s320/IMG_3744.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div> </div><div> </div><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0i1K3EyI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/KZ-vboQYHog/s1600-h/IMG_3764.JPG"></a> </div><div><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iOY4kII/AAAAAAAAAI4/nClqsWMJuF0/s1600-h/IMG_3744.JPG"></a> </div><div> </div><div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iec43pI/AAAAAAAAAJA/qjK63C4KP3c/s1600-h/IMG_3748.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246680964036877970" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iec43pI/AAAAAAAAAJA/qjK63C4KP3c/s320/IMG_3748.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iizm6AI/AAAAAAAAAJI/C6I1coRj84Y/s1600-h/IMG_3760.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246680965205911554" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0iizm6AI/AAAAAAAAAJI/C6I1coRj84Y/s320/IMG_3760.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0i1K3EyI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/KZ-vboQYHog/s1600-h/IMG_3764.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246680970135278370" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SM_0i1K3EyI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/KZ-vboQYHog/s320/IMG_3764.JPG" border="0" /></a></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-33948482248340362862008-09-10T17:45:00.000-07:002008-09-16T11:08:39.206-07:00We have siding!<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8oEjcKMI/AAAAAAAAAHw/v25aK8apCCc/s1600-h/DCP_0624.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244578793931942082" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8oEjcKMI/AAAAAAAAAHw/v25aK8apCCc/s320/DCP_0624.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8oIuOzYI/AAAAAAAAAH4/wlHcf0E1Au0/s1600-h/DCP_0619.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244578795050945922" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8oIuOzYI/AAAAAAAAAH4/wlHcf0E1Au0/s320/DCP_0619.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8ojgamqI/AAAAAAAAAIA/lvIiEUhHG0c/s1600-h/IMG_3662.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244578802240756386" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8ojgamqI/AAAAAAAAAIA/lvIiEUhHG0c/s320/IMG_3662.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8o3WAoLI/AAAAAAAAAII/xWBJXHzlq4k/s1600-h/IMG_3729.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244578807565820082" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8o3WAoLI/AAAAAAAAAII/xWBJXHzlq4k/s320/IMG_3729.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8pG01atI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/fjJH9a1Jw28/s1600-h/IMG_3733.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244578811721640658" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh8pG01atI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/fjJH9a1Jw28/s320/IMG_3733.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh9ktUYUOI/AAAAAAAAAIg/oPB0jFQIIl0/s1600-h/IMG_3735.jpg"></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh9kcdp8vI/AAAAAAAAAIY/Tfpy2M-oE2g/s1600-h/IMG_3735.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244579831142281970" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh9kcdp8vI/AAAAAAAAAIY/Tfpy2M-oE2g/s320/IMG_3735.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh9k2GTL2I/AAAAAAAAAIo/ONlLSA0YIK0/s1600-h/IMG_3740.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5244579838023642978" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SMh9k2GTL2I/AAAAAAAAAIo/ONlLSA0YIK0/s320/IMG_3740.jpg" border="0" /></a>Chris spent the entire weekend last weekend siding the front of the house. It looks amazing. He just took the kids to get paint so they can start that part. Not sure how well a 2 and 4 year old can paint, but I figure we can always just paint over whatever they do if it looks terrible. </div><br /><br /><div>Alexis also had her preschool orientation yesterday. It went okay. She got really hungry after about an hour so we had to leave so she could eat. I told her she has got to eat breakfast before school, but I can't blame her for not wanting to. Neither Chris or I have ever been big breakfast eaters. I've been worried all this time about how Luke will react with Sissy gone, but he did fine. She was more sad to leave him! </div><div>Both kids are doing great. Luke is talking up a storm and so active. It's hard to believe he's only 2. He can easily keep up with Alexis and the bigger kids. </div><div></div><div>The first 2 pictures are of when we bought the house 5.5 years ago. The next are what it looked like with the front door moved to it's new location. The last ones are of the siding and the kids helping paint it. Once we are done with this project we will have pretty much changed everything in the house. We started by replacing all the windows, got new carpet in all but 2 bedrooms and completely redid the bathroom and kitchen. We are now adding a bathroom (where the house is now closed in where the front door used to be), adding a laundry room and converting the garage to a living/playroom. Oh, we're also adding a fireplace. I can't wait til it's all done. It will be like having a new house</div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-88620052383777933392008-08-26T18:21:00.000-07:002008-08-26T18:27:22.564-07:00Making progressOn the house, that is. Chris rented an excavator last weekend and dug the hole next to our old front door for the new foundation. Tomorrow the concrete guys are coming to pour it. This weekend I'm taking the kids to my parents again and Chris and his friend Rob are going to side the front of the house and frame in the new bathroom. I'm so excited!! We really need to get the outside of the house closed up before fall really comes. I have this picture in my head of what our house will look like for Christmas this year, with the new family room and in my head it's pretty great. I'm sure the finished product will be just as good as my imagination is seeing it! Chris is a perfectionist, and although it sometimes makes things take a little longer than I'd like, the end result is always so nice! Chris has had the camera in his car for weeks so I haven't taken any pictures, but hopefully I'll remember to get it from him soon. <br />Not much else going on around here. Just enjoying the end of summer. The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-89366943002801783872008-08-03T10:16:00.000-07:002008-08-03T10:20:53.933-07:00Why I had kidsAlexis tells me she loves me all the time. It is so sweet. Lately her favorite thing is to tell me "Mom, I love you so much. I couldn't love you any more even if I tried." Melts my heart everytime. Luke has been saying I love you also, but mostly only when we say it first. Yesterday we were just sitting in the living room and out of the blue he said "Mommy, I love you so much." So, my rough and tumble boy does have a soft spot! I guess he takes after his daddy. Tough on the outside, but a softie on the inside. <br />Uh oh, I just noticed Luke is awfully quiet and I can see him sitting up on his dresser. I better go see what's up!The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-31717538596203519732008-07-31T17:40:00.000-07:002008-07-31T18:18:11.184-07:00Summer 2008Let me just start by saying that I stink at blogging. I'm really going to try and do better. But, I'm also not going to make any promises.<br /><br />So far, we've had a great summer. The highlight, by far, was our trip to St. Louis to watch Auntie Dre and Uncle Ed get married. We left on July 1 and came home on the 7th. The kids did great on the plane. Luke actually slept the entire flight both directions only to wake up for the last 20 minutes. Alexis didn't sleep, but played and had fun with Grandma, Grandpa an Uncle Matt. We went to Grant's Farm on the 2nd, the St Louis Zoo and rehearsal/dinner on the 3rd, Ed's parents for a 4th of July BBQ, the wedding was the 5th, had a relaxing day on the 6th and went to the zoo again on the 7th since our flight wasn't til 6:30. It was a busy week, but so much fun. All the Francois kids were there with their families (Chris' siblings), all but one of Steve's siblings came and all Angela's siblings were there also. There were also lots of Chris' cousins there to play with also. It was so special that so many people made the trip! Alexis and Luke had a great time with so many people to entertain them. We also got to meet our newest niece, Alice Marie, who is absolutely precious. She is Jen and Chad's daughter and is 6 months old now.<br /><br /><div>We've been spending a lot of weekends in Lynnwood this summer since we finally decided to bite the bullet and remodel our house. We are adding a bathroom, laundry room and converting the garage into a living room/playroom. When all is said and done our house will be so great. Right now it's torn apart, but we're managing. Before this gets too long I'm just going to post some pictures of our summer. <a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfrmPdzPI/AAAAAAAAAFw/qtqArCUD1UQ/s1600-h/IMG_3488.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229347319934995698" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfrmPdzPI/AAAAAAAAAFw/qtqArCUD1UQ/s320/IMG_3488.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiYkB8H7I/AAAAAAAAAGQ/IcHnJdoiumA/s1600-h/6a00d83451c07569e200e553adb72e8833-800wi.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350291458760626" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiYkB8H7I/AAAAAAAAAGQ/IcHnJdoiumA/s320/6a00d83451c07569e200e553adb72e8833-800wi.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /></div><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfqMRu1OI/AAAAAAAAAFY/XO2naKk2ZBs/s1600-h/dre+and+ed.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229347295785309410" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfqMRu1OI/AAAAAAAAAFY/XO2naKk2ZBs/s320/dre+and+ed.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiY8DV8XI/AAAAAAAAAGY/2C0SmX9U1RE/s1600-h/6a00d83451c07569e200e553adb6f28833-800wi.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350297907097970" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiY8DV8XI/AAAAAAAAAGY/2C0SmX9U1RE/s320/6a00d83451c07569e200e553adb6f28833-800wi.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiYnaKiwI/AAAAAAAAAGI/UBqwfvBBk6g/s1600-h/IMG_3397.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350292365675266" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiYnaKiwI/AAAAAAAAAGI/UBqwfvBBk6g/s320/IMG_3397.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJi52EckJI/AAAAAAAAAGg/Yhr06LTBNCY/s1600-h/Emily+Chris.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350863236796562" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJi52EckJI/AAAAAAAAAGg/Yhr06LTBNCY/s320/Emily+Chris.jpg" border="0" /></a> <div><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJi6SB0kRI/AAAAAAAAAGo/fqxTSkS3ZPw/s1600-h/IMG_3545.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350870741979410" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJi6SB0kRI/AAAAAAAAAGo/fqxTSkS3ZPw/s320/IMG_3545.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiYCuKgwI/AAAAAAAAAGA/Z63j2T18lhE/s1600-h/IMG_3437.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350282517447426" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiYCuKgwI/AAAAAAAAAGA/Z63j2T18lhE/s320/IMG_3437.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfqzB8uvI/AAAAAAAAAFg/C35m9u1R3eE/s1600-h/IMG_3368.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229347306188094194" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfqzB8uvI/AAAAAAAAAFg/C35m9u1R3eE/s320/IMG_3368.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp0.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfp9k1XPI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/6HpVa7Kmo1k/s1600-h/Emily+Chris.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229347291838897394" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfp9k1XPI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/6HpVa7Kmo1k/s320/Emily+Chris.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfrH8_G-I/AAAAAAAAAFo/zIUg5vkMBlI/s1600-h/IMG_3430.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229347311804423138" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJfrH8_G-I/AAAAAAAAAFo/zIUg5vkMBlI/s320/IMG_3430.jpg" border="0" /></a><a href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiXva31hI/AAAAAAAAAF4/jQO9FQC4Yxo/s1600-h/IMG_3454.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229350277336258066" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJiXva31hI/AAAAAAAAAF4/jQO9FQC4Yxo/s320/IMG_3454.jpg" border="0" /></a></div>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-41211251351655914492008-05-22T19:30:00.000-07:002008-05-22T19:42:34.836-07:00Happy 2nd Birthday Luke! So, I'm 10 days late with this, but better late than never, right?! My baby turned 2 last Monday and I can't believe it. We didn't do much this year, but it was still a special day. I had to work on his birthday, but Gramma Joan came up and she and Alexis made him a birthday cake and sang to him. After work we went to Billy McHale's for dinner, then to Target to buy him a trike. When we got home we sang again and had a little more cake. Two years ago I was feeling lucky to have had a shower! We sure have come a long way! Luke was an extremely challenging baby (fussy, reflux, just all around not happy), but today he is a joy. He makes us laugh everyday with the funny things he says and does. He's happy most of the time, but has an occasional meltdown. He and Alexis get along so well most of the time and even when they do fight they move past it quickly. <br />It's so much fun now that the kids are a little older. I am so proud to have these adorable, smart, funny little people with me when we are out (most of the time) and am looking forward to lots of memorable moments this summer. <br />Pictures to come...The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-41556849952301097162008-04-19T15:37:00.000-07:002008-07-31T18:27:29.960-07:00Boys and their toys<div><div>Last weekend we got a ton of rocks and bark for the yard. Well, this weekend Chris rented an excavator to move all the rocks to the back yard around the playset. He is having fun playing with heavy machinery, and Luke is obsessed with watching and helping! Luke and Alexis have both been taking turns since last night sitting on Chris' lap while he works. The first thing Luke said when I went into his room this morning was "daddy, outside, bulldozer?". Daddy was still sleeping, but as soon as he got up they all got bundled up and headed out. Did I mention that even though it is April 19 it feels like the middle of January outside? It's freezing! I've got some cute pictures of them all that I will upload later!<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmCoPOmxI/AAAAAAAAAGw/sDEURf7Qork/s1600-h/IMG_2910.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229354312677628690" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmCoPOmxI/AAAAAAAAAGw/sDEURf7Qork/s320/IMG_2910.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmDbqmb-I/AAAAAAAAAHA/hOboSr5m1f8/s1600-h/IMG_2932.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229354326482644962" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmDbqmb-I/AAAAAAAAAHA/hOboSr5m1f8/s320/IMG_2932.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmDJBJxVI/AAAAAAAAAG4/KEeeHdbRcjc/s1600-h/IMG_2894.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229354321476961618" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmDJBJxVI/AAAAAAAAAG4/KEeeHdbRcjc/s320/IMG_2894.JPG" border="0" /></a></div></div><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmbuJQW3I/AAAAAAAAAHI/aZ5kQU10d0c/s1600-h/IMG_2915.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229354743759919986" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SJJmbuJQW3I/AAAAAAAAAHI/aZ5kQU10d0c/s320/IMG_2915.JPG" border="0" /></a>The Francois Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13693524619407312186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1570597057612763470.post-21164769654795737382008-04-14T08:40:00.000-07:002008-04-14T08:43:01.654-07:00Scrapblogging<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SAN7c3C_vDI/AAAAAAAAAEg/uYGYpjGchgA/s1600-h/blog_header_Page_0.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5189126931404012594" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HV8ermSgA9w/SAN7c3C_vDI/AAAAAAAAAEg/uYGYpjGchgA/s320/blog_header_Page_0.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>This is something I could get into!
