I'm tired!

Chris has been working so much lately! He's been out of town and working long hours. I'm tired of being a single parent. I have so much respect for women who do it all the time. I worked today and have only been home for 2 hours, but I'm already ready to rip my hair out. Luke is super crabby and keeps crying for no reason and it's driving me nuts! Yeah, daddy just walked in the door. I'm taking a break from everyone now! Bye Bye!

Alexis' 4th birthday party

A few weeks back I mentioned Alexis' birthday party at the Little Gym. Lots of our friends and family were able to come and I think everyone had a really good time! All the kids loved running around in the gym, the Barbie cake was beautiful and delicious and Alexis got really nice gifts from everyone. By the time present time rolled around she was pretty tired and wasn't the most gracious gift recipient, but I think everyone understood that it had been a long day and she was just tired. She has very much enjoyed all her gifts since the party! Here's a few pictures.

Love the sun!

We've had some beautiful weather lately! I love it when you can see that spring is just around the corner! Over President's Day weekend we stayed at my parents and on Monday we (gramma Joan, me, Luke and Alexis) went to the zoo. It was beautiful. Very sunny, just a little chilly. When we got there in the morning we realized that all of Seattle thought it would be a great day for the zoo! But, we had a great time. We saw giraffes, lions, elephants, gorillas and lots of other animals. Luke's favorite were the lions. He loves to roar! They are opening a flamingo exhibit in May, and Alexis was sad it wasn't open yet, so we'll definitely be heading back.
This past weekend was equally nice, so we spent a lot of time outside. Alexis got a new bike for her birthday so she's been riding it around the neighborhood. Luke is practicing on her old bike. He's really quite good for only being 21 months! He can pedal just fine, he just hasn't quite mastered steering. We're definitely going to get him some kind of riding thing for his birthday in May. I can't believe he's going to be 2. Where did my baby go?
